Dr. Hendrik Ohnesorge interviewed in ‘Deutschlandfunk’
The managing director of the Center, Dr. Hendrik Ohnesorge was featured on an episode of Deutschlandfunk on 24. April 2025. Sören Brinkman interviewed him about the rising tensions between U.S. president Donald Trump and the American media.
The conversation focused on an ongoing lawsuit by Trump against the Central Broadcasting Service (CBS) concerning an interview of his competitor in the 2024 presidential election, Kamala Harris. Trump is seeking a penalty of $10 billion. Also mentioned was the international radio station „Voice of America“, whose funding the Trump administration abruptly stopped – a federal judge in Washington has issued a temporary block against this step.
