Hendrik Ohnesorge speaks at the lecture series “Wende, Wandel, Zeitenwende(n)”

Dr. Hendrik Ohnesorge has the honor of presenting the fourth session of this years lecture series “Wende, Wandel, Zeitenwende(n)” on tuesday the 12th of November. The series focuses on the varying meanings of the term “Zeitenwende” (“sea change” might be a semi-adequat idiom in english) in different political and societal circumstances starting from chancellor Olaf Scholzs speech on 27. february 2022.
Summarized under the title of “Amerikanische Zeitenwende? Die U.S.-Präsidentschaftswahl und ihre Folgen” (“American sea change? The U.S. presidential election and its’ effects”) Dr. Ohnesorge will use the lecture session to analyze the latest presidential election and its’ effects on the transatlantic partnership, as well as international relations in general.
The lecture series is a cooperation between the Institute of Political Science and Sociology, the Institute for German Studies, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies (International College), and the Catholic-Theological Department (Moral Theology Seminar). Sessions are weekly on tuesdays from 4:15 to 6:00pm between 15. October and 21. January, located in lecture hall XIV of the university main building.
